Round 2 results just in! Sorry but, no pictures today.
Today was a much better day weather wise, with consistent winds
throughout the day. The judges have been MUCH harsher today, resulting
in lower overall scores. Mark Christy flew an absolutely storming
round, though its not reflected in the scores unfortunately. However,
his percentage (the important bit!) is up, as even Hashimoto was
down marked today!
Top ten places are:
1 Hashimoto 1000
2 Sensui 991.3
3 Hoenle (Ger) 984.4
4 Mann (USA) 981
5 Youngblood 963.5
6 Kunii (Jap) 960
7 Feil (Ger) 946.2
8 Lien (Taipei) 927.1
9 Christy (GB) 901
10 Kobayashi (Jap) 894.1

Mark Tilbury was 24th, with 809, and Dave Wilshere was 27th with
796.9. Mark Christy now has two top ten finishes, and needs only
one more to be assured a place in the fly-off.
The Team placings are:
1 Japan 5550.7
2 USA 5542.9
3 Germany 5337.6
4 UK 4886.4
5 Canada 4690.5
The team placing looks promising, though much work needs to be done
to snatch third place from the Germans. Mark Christy has managed
to collect a few scalps today, including Dwight Shilling (USA),
Kobayashi (Japan), Rossner (Germany) and Scott Gray (Canada). He's
a little disappointed to be so far down on Rudiger Feil (Ger & European
Champ), but some are putting that down to Judge Fatigue! The poor
guys start at 6.00am, and don't finish till after 7.00 pm! More
(hopefully!) tommorrow!
