     2001 F3C Helicopter World Championship
 


Background
The 2001 FAI F3C World Championship (9th event) was held at the AMA Internaional Aeromodelling Center in Muncie, Indiana, USA, from 9th to the 14th September.
65 Contestants entered from 27 countries to compete for the title.

Amazingly the Japanese teams took 4 of the top 5 places - although being reinging champions they did have 1 more team member than the others.

This was the third World Title for Curtis Youngblood.
